Since the first Sport Coaching Summit in 2017, my approach to coaching has changed. It came to the realization that courses I have missed in the past and also Level 1 and 2 Rugby coaching are not everything. It made me attend every summit. Not only every summit but also other sessions of WJK Coaching. Dr Suzanne Ferreira's sessions will always remain with me ... Creating a performance environment ... Especially what she shared with us about her athletes. The last summit's theme: "Connectedness", gave me an eye opener and I was able to use the topic at the opening of our new school. Then there are also the people you meet during the sessions and summits. Dr. Kraak, with your sessions you have opened opportunities for learning and sharing information with us.

In 2017 I was introduced to Dr Wilbur Kraak through a friend. This was the best thing that could have happened for my coaching career which started in 2016. Dr Kraak introduced me to WJK Coaching Consultancy. The consultancy transformed my way of thinking about sport and coaching. I was also introduced to various levels of training and seminars. In 2019 and 2020 our rugby club Darling used WJK Coaching Consultancy to motivate players and management. WJK Coaching Consultancy is busy transforming on all the levels possible in coaching. A few years back I attended the first Sport Coaching Summit and the hunger for coaching became more thanks to WJK Coaching Consultancy. I could clearly see the difference in my coaching, players doing better, my session planning improved and everyone in my club could see the difference in players performance.
